This fish species can grow up to 50 lbs in Northern Saskatchewan. Our average pike caught is 12 lbs(when you filter out the 100's of hammer heads caught of course); With most clients finishing up their trip being able to say they caught a 20+ lbs monster. Northern Pike are found in all the lakes and water systems we have access to.
The abundance of walleye in our lakes is overwhelming when their hot! The average walleye caught is 4 lbs, and the quantity is in the hundreds! We regularly see an 6+ lbs walleye being caught and released back into the water.
The best Lakes to catch walleye are: Johnson river, Peter, and Pardoe lakes.
The elusive lake trout is the hardest but most fun fish to catch, In the summer month, pulling up 100 feet of line with a heavy fighting laker is hands down the most excitement you can have!
The biggest lakers can be found in Pardoe and Courtney lakes. A short portage will take you over to Vollman lake, which also has lakers and is very seldom fished.
